Adira Griffin

Creator and Destroyer of Things

Adira Griffin is an emerging multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design and received a B.F.A. in Motion Media Design. In 2024, she was selected as a Steve Jobs Archive Fellow. She has showcased work in galleries and institutions such as SCAD Atlanta, Georgia Tech, MINT, and Stove Works.

In my practice, I use both digital and traditional media to convey narratives about identity, connection, and belonging. I draw inspiration from the dreams, memories, and conversations that occur day-to-day within the environments I find myself in. Through experimental storytelling, I aim to create spaces for people to imagine alternative realities and futures that condemn mainstream media’s adverse effect on the human condition. My latest projects have focused on the restorative effects visual patterns and cycles have on our collective memory.
